Proposal C-346 April 1, 2004 Loss Cost Filing

Subsequent to the Bureau’s submission of the April 1, 2004 Loss Cost Filing (Proposal C-346) to the Pennsylvania Insurance Department on November 25, 2003, the Bureau’s Experience Rating Plan Filing (Filing No. 208) was approved effective April 1, 2004. Filing No. 208’s revisions to various features of the Experience Rating Plan were not reflected in the original April 1, 2004 loss cost filing. Thus, portions of Proposal C-346 have been amended to reflect the approved changes to the experience rating plan. Those changes did not affect the overall collectible loss cost indication but did have an impact on manual loss cost levels and classification rating values. On November 25, 2003 the Bureau made a loss cost filing with the Pennsylvania Insurance Department. That filing, designated as Proposal C-346, proposed revisions to loss costs, related rating values and Manual rules effective April 1, 2004.
