The PCRB will host a virtual Industry Briefing from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 18 to outline key details of its 2026 loss cost filing, submitted to the Pennsylvania Insurance Department on November 24, 2025, and other timely updates. Filing No. C-387 proposes an overall loss cost change of –1.22%, with a planned effective date of April 1, 2026.
Senior Vice President/Chief Actuary Brent Otto and Director of Actuarial Services Jesse Marass will walk stakeholders through the primary cost drivers, market indicators, and considerations that informed the filing, as well as what to watch as the Department’s review moves forward.
This session offers insurers, agents and brokers, trade groups, and other system partners a clear, data-driven look at Pennsylvania’s workers compensation environment heading into 2026.
